How to Make Delicious Hummus
Hummus is considered as one of the easiest and most delish snacks that you can make. A lot of people have their own style or version when it comes to making Hummus. Hummus is basically a nutritious snack or appetizer that you can consume in many ways. Some people use it as a sandwich spread, while others eat it with pita bread. If you’re one of those who really don’t have enough time to spend in the kitchen, then let me share with you a very simple Hummus recipe that you can pull off in an instant.
First you need to prepare the following ingredients:
- Garlic (1 clove and 1 clove, chopped)
- 1 can of Garbanzo beans
- Lemon juice (3-4 tbsps.)
- Tahini (2-3tbsps.)
- Salt (1 tsp.)
- Olive oil (2 tbsps.)
- Black pepper
Once you have all the ingredients, you can start making your hummus by simply adding everything together. First, put one clove of garlic straight into a blender. Blend until it gets chopped. After this, add the garbanzo beans. Don’t forget to reserve a little amount for the garnishing. And then add on the lemon juice, more chopped garlic, tahini and salt. Just keep on blending until the consistency becomes creamy. Once that’s done, place the mixture in a bowl and add the olive oil and the extra beans as garnish. For added taste, you can sprinkle black pepper.
Enjoy your hummus with pita bread, chips or vegetable sticks.
