Some were complimentary, others were derogatory in their remarks, yet still others were just downright puzzled at how Candice was able to lose such a lot of weight in only a short period of time. Ample speculations abounded regarding the topic.
Candice Swanepoel, one of the top Victoria's Secret lingerie and swimwear top models, has always been distinguished for her well-toned body and easy, confident moves in front of the camera. Standing at 5'9", she is only 55 kilograms and has the impressive body measurements of 33-23-34.5. When she showed up for a pictorial several pounds lighter and looking definitely skinnier as compared to her previous photo session, a lot of buzz went around. With a body like hers, she has always gotten a predictable amount of attention wherever she goes. However, as Candice explained during an interview, losing weight has never been a problem for her. Gaining weight and maintaining that weight is more of a problem. And with her current hectic schedule necessitating a lot of travelling, it isn’t really surprising that her weight suddenly dropped. She has been quoted as saying, "People don't realize how hard it is to keep eating habits consistent when you're travelling." Despite the negative comments on her unexpected weight loss, Candice is looking extremely healthy and happy at the moment.
